Installation

This guide walks you through adding the LUT Turbo Payment Gateway to your website. Follow each step in order. Don’t skip ahead.

Time to complete: About 10 minutes.

Step 1: Download the plugin file

1. Go to the Releases page
2. Click Download ZIP next to the version marked Latest
3. Save the file somewhere you can find it, like your Desktop

Tip

The file you download is called a ZIP file. It’s like a folder that has been squished into one file. You do not need to open or unzip it. WordPress handles that for you.

Step 2: Log in to your WordPress Admin

1. Open your web browser
2. Go to your website address and add /wp-admin at the end
   • Example: www.yourstore.com/wp-admin
3. Enter your WordPress username and password
4. Click Log In

You should see your WordPress dashboard: a dark sidebar on the left with menu items like “Posts”, “Pages”, “Plugins”, etc.

Step 3: Upload the plugin

1. In the left sidebar, click Plugins
2. At the top of the page, click Add New Plugin
3. Near the top of the next page, click the Upload Plugin button
4. Click Choose File (or Browse)
5. Find the ZIP file you downloaded in Step 1 and select it
6. Click Install Now
7. Wait a few seconds for it to finish
8. Click Activate Plugin

✅ You should now see “LUT Turbo Payment Gateway” in your list of installed plugins.

Step 4: Go to payment settings

1. In the left sidebar, click WooCommerce
2. Click Settings
3. Click the Payments tab at the top of the page
4. Find LUT Turbo Payment Gateway in the list

You will see it listed but it may show as disabled. That’s normal. You need to add your credentials before turning it on.

Having trouble?

If something went wrong in any of these steps, go to Troubleshooting.

The most common issues at this stage:

• Can’t find the ZIP file: check your Downloads folder or Desktop
• “Upload failed” error: your ZIP file may be corrupted, try downloading it again from Releases
• Don’t see “LUT Turbo Payment Gateway” after activating: try refreshing the page
• “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error”: the ZIP must contain a folder named lut-turbo-payment-gateway/ at its root. WordPress derives the plugin slug from that folder name. If the ZIP was re-packaged and the root folder was renamed or missing, re-download the official ZIP from Releases
